What happens when you grow beyond the user count of your plan

In Steady, our plans and pricing are structured based on the number of users.

If your account grows beyond your current plan, for instance, growing to 20 users on a 1-14 people plan, here's what happens:

  • 30 days before your quarterly renewal: You'll receive a notice of the overage and what your new plan and price will be.

  • 7 days before your quarterly renewal: If the user count is still over your plan's limit, you'll receive another notice.

  • At renewal: If your user count is still above your plan's limit, we'll charge you for the new plan and user count on the existing payment method. If your plan now offers invoice billing (50+), we'll reach out to discuss options for transitioning.
